My story

Location: North Richland Hills, Texas DOB: January 2025 (estimate) Meet Walter! Walter is a young Great Dane mix that is as sweet as pie. And he’s looking for his very own forever home within a few hours of Dallas/Fort Worth. Walter is a big, lovable goofball who’s ready to wiggle his way into your heart. This handsome pup sleeps soundly through the night, enjoys his naps, and is fully potty trained. He’s great on leash, though—like any young pup—he can get distracted by all the exciting sights and smells along the way. Walter already knows sit and stay and is adding more commands to his growing repertoire. He’s not a big fan of the crate, but he’s smart, eager to please, and learning every day. He’s a treat lover through and through, though his puppy curiosity sometimes gets the best of him—he might leave his own food to “help” you with yours… or investigate anything that might be edible (or chewable). Walter currently lives peacefully with a small dog and a cat, and he’s happy to share his space. His favorite role, though? Professional Shadow—wherever his foster goes, Walter is right there, ready to “help” and soak up all the love.
