TED NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Ted            Best Guess for Breed: Retriever/lab mix    Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of August 2025       SEX:  Male   Estimated Weight: 39 lbs as of August 2025 - he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen Ted with kids or cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Ted would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.    Currently Living at:  Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home!    Ted is Looking For:  His forever home! This sweetie is at the tail end of puppyhood and ready to see the world! He's eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Can you see me by your side?
