My story

Petrick Sajak (AKA Patrick Sajak) is ready to spin the wheel of fortune and win the biggest jackpot of all, a forever home! This sweet 5 month old and 37 lb Sheepadoodle mix was rescued with three siblings after a breeder abandoned them at a grooming facility in Santa Ana. The staff cared for them through the month of July before they came to Shelter Hope. When Petrick arrived, he was scared, hungry, underweight, and battling flea dermatitis and worms from poor nutrition and neglect. Thanks to a loving foster home, he’s already looking healthier and feeling more confident. He has been dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and is learning how wonderful life can be with kind humans, full meals, and cozy naps. Petrick is still getting used to his transition with us, but is showing his sweet, gentle personality more each day. He will thrive in a patient home that will continue helping him build trust and discover what it means to be truly loved. Petrick Sajak is looking for his forever home! —---- Looking to Adopt? Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.
