Benson wants you, he needs you!Benson is looking for a second chance to find a home of his own so he can embrace “these beautiful things that he’s got”! He’s handsome, chill, and only wants to be loved. ABOUT BENSON- In foster- Benson arrived at EHS with his roommate Bea (not bonded) when circumstances changed in his home. - Benson is a friendly, amiable senior fellow who loves getting affection. Even the vet called him a “superstar”, and “such a cool older cat” (and we agree)! - He’s very confident, and began exploring his new environment almost immediately after arriving at his foster home. - Benson has a lot of energy for his age, and he appreciates one-on-one playtime with his human on occasion.- Good luck trying to take photos of this handsome lovebug—he’ll run to you for cuddles as soon as he sees you looking at him.- Benson was declawed prior to coming into the care of EHS.- Benson is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.BENSON’S IDEAL HOME- Benson would do well with a cat-friendly feline in the home, or he could be adopted with a cat friend from us. - Benson has some health issues (mild heart disease and kidney disease) that are managed through a special diet and medication, which he easily accepts. - He would do well in a calm environment where he can receive plenty of love throughout the day.If you are looking to provide a great retirement for a good natured, loving senior fellow, then Benson is your guy!
