Name:   Jamie        Best Guess for Breed:   Lab Mix   Best Guess for Age:   7 months as of 8/11/25         SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   33lbs as of 8/11/25- he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! He has interacted with children but hasn't lived with them; it takes a bit of time for him to warm up to them. We haven't seen Jamie with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  Shelter. Jamie needs a foster or forever home!   Special adoption considerations:    Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Ted would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.    Jamie is Looking For:   From the beaches of Puerto Rico to the streets of DC, Jamie’s ready to trade sand for snuggles!
