My story

Kevin the Potato is a classically handsome brown tabby with adorable belly spots, oversized ears with fuzzy tufts, and with a heart full of curiosity. At just two months old, he’s already mastered the art of joyful chaos, from pouncing on every toy in sight to proudly launching himself onto chairs like it’s a major life achievement. His love of interactive play is unmatched, though he`s equally content batting toys around solo when you`re busy doing mysterious human things (which he will quietly observe with those wide, curious eyes). While Kevin is still working on the finer points of feline etiquette, he’s making excellent progress. He’s doing a great job learning that human hands are for snuggles, not for biting or bunny-kicking, though sometimes he still needs a gentle reminder. He also has flawless litter box manners and a healthy appetite, which he pursues with the dedication of a kitten who has places to go and snacks to conquer.Kevin enjoys brief cuddles, often accompanied by a charming little purr that lasts as long as his attention span does (which is to say, not long - there are toys to chase!). He’s affectionate but not clingy, and he seeks out pets and company between playtime sessions. As a bottle baby, Kevin was raised without the guidance of a cat mom or siblings, which means he shares a special bond with humans but has zero street smarts. For this reason, Kevin must be an indoor-only cat — the world is just too spicy for a potato this sweet. He’s a confident little guy, not overly bold, but certainly not a scaredy cat. Even the roar of low-flying Blue Angels didn’t phase him. While he hasn’t met other animals yet, we suspect he’d thrive with a playful feline friend close to his age. He may not say it out loud, but we suspect he’s always wanted a brother or sister. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, clever, and incredibly endearing kitten, Kevin the Potato is ready to steal your heart (and possibly your chair, if you get up for even a second). Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location. From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free R
