My story

Brief Bio:My name is Remi and I’m a sweet, but initially shy, guy. I came into the shelter because I needed help getting rid of a silly old fungal infection. But I’m doing great now and all clear as you can see from my beautiful silky black coat. I’m eating Hills Science Diet dry kitten food but boy do I love those churru push-up treats! That’s what my foster mom used to get me to be comfortable around her and my new surroundings.Summary of Personality:I can be a little shy and skittish when I meet new people and I’m in new environments initially. But I’m very gentle and friendly when you pick me up. Once I get comfortable in my surroundings and my new people, I am an absolute love bug who loves attention. You’ll just need to go a little slow with me at first, and I may be a little hand shy. But if you’re patient and willing to meet me where I am, I will reward you with the sweetest purrsI love to play with anything that I can bat around and chase and I love hanging out with the other Foster kittens.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):I was initially overwhelmed by all the activity from the foster cats. So my foster mom quickly realize that and gave me some time out to play with just her until I get comfortable and then my buddy Aslan (A713995). He’s my best friend and I really hope we can get adopted together because he makes me feel very comfortable and boost my confidence. I quickly came out of my shell and loved playing with the other three fosters and wasn’t even intimidated by the big 17 pound resident cat that would come in every now and then to check us out. I don’t mind being picked up and loved on, but I’m also happy playing with toys and climbing. I’m crossing my fingers that I get adopted with Aslan!Include any observations:I always use my litter box. My foster mom made sure that!Speaking of my foster mom, I know she would love to see pictures and get updates about me after I’m adopted. Don’t forget to ask the Shelter staff there for her contact information. Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes

If you have any questions or would like to adopt REMI, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
