My story

Meet Yongbaek 3 yrs | Neutered Male | Jindo Mix | 13kg | White Rescue Story: Yongbaek was rescued from Wanju Shelter, where he had been living since April 2023. After spending over two years in the shelter, he was saved just before being scheduled for euthanasia. Temperament with People: Yongbaek is an affectionate boy who happily approaches not only familiar people but also strangers, rubbing against them and allowing gentle touches. Even with someone he’s meeting for the first time, he’ll flop over to show his belly. Always wearing a smile, he loves giving kisses, enjoys physical affection, and will run to you when called. He’s friendly with men, and does well with children under 13. He’s comfortable being picked up and held with arms under his belly. Temperament with Other Dogs: Sociable and friendly, Yongbaek enjoys greeting and playing with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. He is kind to dogs of all sizes, from smaller pups to larger breeds. Even if another dog shows aggression, he avoids conflict and walks away. He shows no signs of territorial or guarding behavior toward other dogs. With Cats: No direct observation yet, but cat testing can be arranged. Energy Level: Moderate — he enjoys outdoor activities but is calm and relaxed after exercise. Walking Manners: Experienced on a leash, he walks politely without pulling and follows his handler’s lead. Other Notes: • No food guarding with people or dogs • Rarely barks • Calm in a kennel • Mostly does his business outdoors Yongbaek is a loving, easygoing companion who will fit into many types of families — from active households to those who enjoy a calm and affectionate friend.
