My story

Name: Kimbra Breed: Chihuahua Mix Sex: Spayed Female Age: 1.5 years Weight: 10 lbs Bundles of Joy and Sunshine on Four Legs Good with dogs? Kimbra makes friends and loves to play with dogs of all sizes and ages! She is a little shy at first and needs a slow intro, then starts playing with her new best friend. Good with cats? Curious with cats, but just wants to play. She loves to curl up and take a nap with her feline friends. Good with kids? Yes, she absolutely loves children of all ages. Energy level: Medium. She loves to run around and play, will get the zoomies, then snuggle up and sleep with her person. She adores playing outside in the backyard, and she’s all about sunbathing during the day. Medical needs: Kimbra was diagnosed with a Patent Ductus Arteriosis (PDA) with a grade 5/6 heart murmur. She had a procedure to close the PDA using a Amplatz Canine Duct Occluder (ACDO), and now has no murmur detected. She is fully healed and feeling great, no medication. The only long term medical need is that if she ever has an infection, such as a UTI, she needs to be treated right away so that her heart device does not get infected. Animal Characteristics: Kimbra is a sweet, bubbly, playful girl who loves to be part of the action near her beloved people and dog friends all the time. Her tail is always wagging! She is a little shy when meeting new friends, then warms up quickly. She is talkative, loves to share her joy and enthusiasm for life, and will do best in a home without shared walls. She is smart, knows the commands “sit,” “come,” and “shake,” is very eager to please and food motivated. She does fine riding in a car. Kimbra is the happiest, most precious little girl who is ready for her loving forever home!
