My story

Say hello to Franklin, a 3-year-and-8-month-old hound with a heart as big as his love for stuffed animals! A frequent visitor to the toy bins, Franklin never misses a chance to pick out a plush companion. Originally brought to us as a stray on 11/27/24, he was adopted on 2/26/25 but sadly returned a month later on 3/28/25 due to his need for more space and his incompatibility with smaller animals. Franklin is your classic hound—curious, energetic, and always on the move. He thrives on stimulation, enrichment, and, most importantly, human affection. He’s a great passenger in the car, a treat enthusiast, and does wonderfully out in public. Franklin is looking for a family familiar with the hound breed—someone who understands his active nature and can offer the time, space, and love he needs to truly thrive.
