My story

My name is Georgia! I'm a spayed, 11 month old, Hound mix and I weigh 40 pounds. I'm a gorgeous, energetic, silly, wiggly and affectionate puppy, but I have a cautious nature and will need a family that is not only active, but also prepared to help me work on my social skills and overall manners. I'm a ball of energy and I don't quite have a handle on all of my limbs yet. They sort of have a mind of their own, especially when I'm excited, which is often! I'm happiest when I am running full speed in the play yard. I am not sure how I feel about little kids or other dogs so for now, I would prefer to be an only child. I would do best with someone who is experienced with working breed dogs like me, specifically hound dogs! Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.
