Despite all he’s been through, he greets each day with hope and a desire to be close to the people he loves. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room, keep you company while you work, and remind you that life is always better with a warm nose and a soft paw nearby.This senior boy is still learning a few things, like perfecting his potty habits and feeling comfortable in a crate, so he will need patient, consistent guidance. For now, he wears a diaper indoors and would thrive in a home where someone is around most (or all) of the day. Jovi loves companionship and truly flourishes when he has his people nearby — he’s happiest when he can share his days right by your side.Jovi dreams of a calm, loving home where he can soak up affection and enjoy his golden years without ever worrying about being alone again. He is heartworm positive and will need nine months of medication, which his rescuers can guide you through.If you have time, patience, and a big soft spot for a sweet senior in need of extra TLC, Jovi will repay you with unconditional love every single day. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.
