My story

#A5712680 Say hello to Parker , a 130-pound hunk of love with a sleek copper coat and rich honey-colored eyes that make him look like a bright burnished penny shining in the sun! This American Bully mix may be a big boy, but he’s the gentlest of giants, happiest when he's snuggled up beside you like a super cozy living, breathing weighted blanket. A total couch potato at heart, Parker lives for belly rubs, cuddles, and chill time with his favorite people. He’s incredibly affectionate, eager to return every bit of love you give - and then some. Smart and well-mannered, he’s great on leash, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and shake like a pro. A volunteer favorite at the shelter and the biggest sweetheart you’ll ever meet, Parker is ready to find his forever and always home - could it be with you?     -3 year old red American Bully mix -130 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/12/25 -a big ole hunk of lovin, with a smooth and sleek copper coat and rich honey colored eyes - like a burnished penny gleaming in the sun!  -weighs in at an impressive 130 pounds, but don't let that put you off!  -Parker is a very special boy that needs a special home that will love and cherish him exactly as he deserves -gentle giant that would love nothing more than to snuggle up with you in the living room or in bed - a total couch potato, perfect for chilling at home -will gently drape himself across you, like a living, breathing, warm and cozy weighted blanket -will also happily roll over for all the belly rubs -but doesn't just soak up all your loving - he's a big lover boy too, super affectionate and eager to give it back tenfold! -super smart and well behaved - great on leash (even at his size!), potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and shake -a volunteer favorite that we'd all love to see out of here ASAP!     PARKER’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/wdLi2SIEolg   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.August 12, 2025, 5:29 pm
