My story

Delta and bring her to safety, and when we finally laid eyes on her, we couldn’t have been happier—or more relieved. Despite everything she’d endured, Delta greeted us with a wagging tail, a spark of confidence, and a heart full of sweetness. Since arriving in Arizona, Delta has continued to amaze us with her gentle resilience and bright spirit. This one-year-old Doberman mix completed a 5-week professional Board + Train program and has blossomed into a smart, curious, and well-mannered young dog. She approaches life with an open heart and steady assurance—qualities that make her a natural leader and a source of comfort for more timid dogs. Delta has never been apart from her best friend, Dawn, and the bond they share is truly something special. Delta’s confident, outgoing nature helps Dawn feel safe, encouraging her to explore the world with more courage. In turn, Dawn’s quiet companionship brings out Delta’s softer, more nurturing side. They are an incredible pair who balance and support one another in ways only best friends can. While Delta is available for adoption on her own to the right home, our dream is for her to be adopted alongside Dawn so they can continue their journey together. Two souls, one unbreakable bond, and a lifetime of love to give.
