My story

Stoney A17699936 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She’s a little timid on leash but that’s about it! She’s fun and playful!-As soon as we got outside into the yard she started zooming around and playing with a ball-I sat on the ground and she came right to me for pets-Affectionate and gives kisses-She loves snacks! She sits, gives paw, can catch them and takes them gently.-Lap dog and lover girl!-Cute lil smoosh face!-She pulls some on leash but not too bad-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
