My story

Partner isn’t just his name—it’s his promise. This handsome 2-year-old lab mix (46 lbs of gentle soul) has captured the hearts of our entire staff. He came to us scared and unsure, retreating into himself in the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. But slowly, day by day, treat by treat, soft word by soft word, he’s started to peek out from behind those walls. Partner has been spending his days up front with our lovable front desk crew, curled up quietly beside them, being the perfect office pup. He’s calm, polite, and happy just to be near you, listening to the world go by.We won’t sugarcoat it—Partner isn’t going to be the kind of dog who’s 100% comfortable on day one. He’s the kind who will test your patience in the gentlest way, who will require time, understanding, and the space to bloom at his own pace. But oh, when that trust comes? You’ll have a loyal, one-of-a-kind friend who will be worth every second of the wait. And did we mention his eyes? One is the clearest blue, and the other is a magical mix of blue and brown—like the sky and earth decided to meet in one gaze. Partner is ready to be someone’s quiet shadow, steady companion, and safe-keeping heart. Could you be the one?The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
