My story

#A5714520 Meet Hua-Hua , a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd with a warm caramel coat dusted in black and a truly regal presence. True to her breed, she’s endlessly loyal, deeply devoted, and always attentive to her people’s direction. Despite her elegant looks, she’s a total cuddlebug at heart - more of a laid-back couch companion than a high-energy working dog. Hua Hua is wonderfully well-behaved: potty trained, great on leash, and knows all her basics like sit, shake, and down (she’ll even hold a down like a pro!). One of her cutest quirks? She loves chasing shadows - watch her light up as she pounces and plays! While she’s friendly with people, she prefers to be the only pet, so she can soak up all the love as the true queen of your heart. Come take home this royal sweetheart today! -4 year old black and brown German Shepherd -68 pound spayed female -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/19/25 as a stray -strikingly regal example of her breed, with a warm caramel coat gently dusted with black -as is typical of her breed - endlessly loyal and devoted to her people, and attentive to all their direction -super affectionate and happy to cuddle close - more of a calm and relaxed couch potato than a busy working dog -incredibly well behaved - good on leash, potty trained, and skilled at basic commands like sit, shake/paw and down (and will calmly settle into and hold a "down" for as long as you like!) -adorably, this darling girl loves to play with shadows! she'll stalk around and pounce whenever one catches her eye -open and friendly with other people, but more selective with other pups - would do best as the only pet in the home, so she can be the queen of your castle!   HUA-HUA’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/tg1UFRUijzk   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.August 12, 2025, 8:23 pm
