My story
Meet Zephyr another pup with a weather name in honor of Steve Horstmeyer’s SAAP initiative to get 19 dogs adopted before he retires at the end of the month. Make sure to mention this if applying to adopt Zephyr. He is aptly named for a gentle wind. This sweet, gentle 4 month old hound mix is scared and timid right now, but we are watching him become more courageous by the day. What this sweet boy needs in his forever home is patience, time and a confident dog friend. Zephyr is fostered in a busy home filled with kids, cats and dogs and he’s learning that noise and chaos are not so bad. He is currently 30 pounds and is likely going to be a large dog.
