Doug is a 3-year-old Terrier mix who was found wandering near E. Railroad, wearing a little green collar but with no tags or microchip to help him find his way home. Despite his uncertain past, Doug is ready for a brand-new beginning.At first, Doug can be a bit shy, carefully sniffing out new friends before he decides they’re safe. But once you’ve passed the “sniff test,” his playful, goofy side shines through. He loves to romp, play, and share sweet moments with the people he trusts.Doug is heartworm positive, but please don’t let that scare you away—our HSSM clinic offers affordable payment plans and treatment support to ensure he gets the care he needs. He’s also up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered before heading off to his forever home.Doug is searching for a patient, loving family who will give him the safety and affection he’s been missing.
