She came to us as an owner surrender after her person passed away and no one in the family was able to keep her. She was very devoted to him. Luna is a white German Shepherd Dog who will be 10 years old in December. She's a big girl and doesn't demand a lot. Luna has been completely vetted and her fee is $100. Luna just needs a nice, calm place to lay her head. A walk here and there, a little bit of affection, and she'll be happy. She'd love a home in which she's not alone a lot as she finds comfort in knowing that someone is there. She has done okay with male dogs but is not one to romp and play. Cats and smaller animals are most likely a no for her. She will need some regular grooming as she does have a pretty thick coat.  NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
