My story

Amos-Border Collie/Dogo Argentino Mix male puppy, ~ 12 wk. (Aug. 2025) (more white on face) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Amos and his siblings, Faith, Moses and Charity, were born to a Dogo Argentino mother and a Border Collie father. It was an accidental litter of puppies and the owner of Momma asked for help to find the puppies a home. They have been raised in his family, with children and lots of love and attention. Some of the characteristics of their breeding are listed below. We estimate that the puppies will mature around 50# and will have medium to higher energy, due to their daddy's breeding. Amos's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication. The Borders can lie for hours at your feet while you compute or watch television, but are forever watching and waiting for you to “go”. They love to go -- anywhere and everywhere. They love to be with you, even if it isn't anywhere exciting or great. They just have to be near you The Dogo Argentino is an Argentine breed of large dog of mastiff type. It was bred in the early twentieth century in Córdoba in central Argentina, primarily for hunting large game such as peccaries, wild boar, and pumas. Dogo argentinos are good pets, if you are looking for a dog that has a loyal, trustworthy, and, above all else, courageous personality. Dogo Argentinos can be good family dogs, particularly with children, when properly socialized and trained. They are known for their loyalty and protective nature towards their families.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Amos, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
