Carmela

My story

This adorable little sweetheart came to us from our friends at Fresno Humane. Carmela was picked up as a stray; she’s only 8 pounds and is less than 2 years old - but her personality is massive. She loves everyone and everything. The world is an adventure for this fox look-a-like. Carmela had never seen stairs or the inside of a home as far as we can tell, but it only takes a minute for this girl to navigate new situations. Her bark is as big as her personality but luckily she doesn’t use it much. She cries for a few minutes when the humans leave the shelter but it’s really just 3 or 4 minutes. Carmela has a cherry eye and an umbilical hernia which we will fix when we spay her and then she will be absolute perfection.
