My story

Potatoes Anyone? I know you are on the website to look at puppies or dogs to adopt and the last thing you expect is to be asked about potatoes! But there is a method to my madness, and that is our foster mom named us all after potatoes. She says it is because we are white, fluffy and yummy! Our real mom, Shella, is about 20 pounds and looks like a yellow labrador and a Corgi got together and had a baby. She looks like a lab with stubby legs, but she is our mom and beautiful! We aren’t really sure who our dad was but Russet and I look like we have some spaniel in us. I am next to the smallest of my litter of 4 but I can hold my own with the others. I am one of the girl potatoes and I am white with golden ears and a little splash of gold on my face. Everyone loves to have potatoes, if they aren’t on a low carb diet that is. But, good news, I am not a food group and don’t have any calories if you scoop me up and love me! My birthday is July 1st and I have had my first shots already and have a date to see the surgeon to get the girl bits off on the 8th of September. Since I am not sure what that is all about, I am not worried about that. I just know it has to be done before I can go to my new home and get my own little boy or girl or another pet to play with! I am in a house where there are many other dogs and cats, so I am used to seeing all of them. Since I am so young, I will be able to adapt to whatever critters you have in your home, be they human or animal. I am a typical puppy at this point. I love to play with my siblings, toys that squeak are cool, and running and trying to jump. Paper makes a lot of cool noises and it is fun to slide around on. But the best things are eating, playing and napping. I am not sure how big I will get. Somewhere over 20# and less than 60# I would guess. But it will be a surprise to both of us!
