My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800   The Ribbons Puppies – Bow, Sash, & Streamers       When Mama Ribbons, a 9-lb Silky Terrier type mix, joined our rescue, she had a little surprise in store— three perfectly precious puppies! Now at the tail-wagging age of 8 weeks old, where every day is a mix of play, naps, and mealtime excitement, these little ones are ready to start tying hearts in knots of love.       Their days begin around 8 a.m. with a lively round of wrestling and toy-chasing before breakfast. They have been eating solids twice a day while nursing and are now transitioning to solids only. In between meals, it’s all about adventures, cuddles, and being unbearably cute.       Bow – The bold leader of the bunch. Always first to explore, first to wrestle, and first to find trouble (the fun kind, of course!). Playful, outgoing, and full of zest for life, Bow is a guaranteed mood booster. Once he's done with his adventures, he's ready to curl up in your lap for some love!       Sash – Sweet, goofy, and adorable, Sash is a cuddle connoisseur who can make you laugh one minute and melt your heart the next. Perfect for someone who wants equal parts play and snuggle.       Streamers – Smallest in size, biggest in sass. Streamers is spunky, fearless, and just as good at wrestling as her bigger brothers. She’s curious, affectionate, and full of personality— a little firecracker wrapped in fluff. Don't let that sass fool you though - there's a sweet lover-girl underneath!       If you’re ready for joy, giggles, and maybe a tiny bit of puppy mischief, the Ribbons puppies are ready to be the best present you’ll ever unwrap.August 13, 2025, 6:58 pm
