My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Hi I’m Puppy 540 or as my foster family calls me Poppy! I would Like to formally introduce myself to you. I’m a little shy around bigger dogs but I’m currently being fostered with a 2-year-old Pitbull and a 7-month-old German Sheppard so that way I can get used to bigger dogs, however after the initial shock of them I’ve become much better with my fear. I now love playing with them and now I’m not afraid whenever they are nearby. I’m starting to get used to playing with toys, I really like this thing called a rope but when I shake it, I get confused when it hits me. I’m trying to figure out this whole tug a war thing that my foster tiny humans (5- and 10-year-old) want to play with me, but I’d rather just run and chase them so they can pick me up. I love being right next to my foster mom, she calls me her little shadow. I’m still a puppy so my potty training is still on going, I have had a few accidents in the house, and I do wake up in the middle of the night because I do need to use the bathroom, but I will settle down right after I go. I sleep in my own kennel at night with a blanket and I love curling up with it to make my nest. My favorite thing to do is be held by my foster mom or follow her around.
