Tila - Truly Amazing!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Tila is a very beautiful shepherd mix who is looking for a new home. Tila is with our rescue partner in North Carolina. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Tila is described as a very friendly girl who came to the shelter very underweight. They are working on this. She loves to play and run and will even fetch. Tila is pretty good on the leash and she has done well meeting other dogs. Tila did great on her cat test! Tila is fixed, up to date on vaccines. She has tested positive for heartworm. We need a foster to save his life! Treatment for heartworm includes 30 days of oral antibiotics and 2 visits to our vet in Barnegat, NJ followed by 30 days of restricted activity. If we are able to save her, her adoption fee will be $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
