My story

Meet Geico ACCT-A-227625! Geico is a 4-year-old male who came in as a stray on 8/2. Medical Notes: 8/11 Volunteer noted: I took Geico out for a walk on Sunday, 8/10. Geico sat at his kennel door and waited for me to leash him. Geico immediately went to the bathroom a number of times when we got outside. He always sat for treats and displayed a wagging tail as he waited for his snack. Geico took the treats gently. I took him into the covered run, and he followed me wherever I walked. When I sat on the bench, he would sit by my legs. I invited Geico onto my lap, and he hopped his front paws on my legs. He loved being pet and having his butt scratched. A couple of times, Geico dropped down on his side and enjoyed belly scratches. I had no issue returning him to his kennel. 8/11 staff noted: He’s been extremely friendly and social to people. Screams when he sees other dogs on leash. 8/5 staff noted: Met Bean: approached the fence, pulling straining on the leash, ears to the side, tail high, whining. Sniffed at the fence with wide eyes, tail high and wagging stiffly. Walked away and sniffed the grass. When together without a barrier, he approached her to sniff her rear, tail high and wagging more loosely and then moved more towards middle as it went on. Soft eyes. Sniffed her then would sniff the ground and otherwise disengage from Her. 8/4 staff noted: Good Sweet boy! Very tolerant of treatments for medical. He likes to complain at you when you stop petting him. He loves affection and giving kisses. Earlier walked by dogs in o/s kennel and paid no attention to them, This evening he met with a female dog o/s nose to nose and wagged his tail the whole time with ears perked up, allowed her to sniff his head and lick his ear. Due to wounds, he wasn't allowed further interaction. Then he met a male dog that was in the big play yard through the fence and had the same reaction, whining and wanting to go back to him when I guided him away. Per staff 8/3: “Vitals at present: HR = 200, RR - 24 with increased effort. Temp = 104.4/, MM's hyperemic and very tacky, CRT =
