Meet Tami – Your Loyal, Loving Companion Awaits! Name: Tami Age: 3 years Gender: Neutered Male Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 18.3 kg Rescue Story Tami entered Wanju Shelter in July 2022 alongside Dami, who is believed to be his mother. He was rescued just in time before euthanasia and has been waiting ever since for a forever family who will cherish him. ‍‍ Social with People Tami is a social butterfly! He warmly greets both familiar and unfamiliar people, enjoying physical affection and easily allowing petting. He loves both men and women, and although he hasn’t met children under 13 yet, he is expected to behave well around them. You can lift him in your arms, and he’s happy to give you his whole heart (and body!) from day one. Social with Dogs Tami gets along well with other dogs and has no trouble with canine friends he knows. He also greets unfamiliar dogs politely, big or small, as long as they are respectful. He’s not one to start trouble and will happily move along after a friendly sniff. Social with Cats His reaction to cats hasn’t been tested yet, but a cat test can be arranged. Energy Level Tami has a medium energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities, but after playtime, he’s happy to relax and enjoy snuggles indoors. Walking Manners Walks are one of his favorite activities! He may start off excited and eager, but if you call his name, he’ll happily come back. Once he’s had a chance to explore, he’ll rest calmly by your side. His focus on his handler is excellent, so he follows your lead well during walks. Other Traits • No resource guarding toward people or other dogs • No separation anxiety • Rarely barks • Calm and quiet in a kennel • Prefers outdoor potty breaks Tami is ready to fill your life with love, loyalty, and joy.
