My story

PART BRAVE EXPLORER, PART PRO-SNUGGLER  DOB 6/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Scout, a friendly, affectionate, and inquisitive medium-haired, grey-and-white tuxedo gal with bright, curious eyes. I am one of the cuddliest of my Girl-Scout-Cookie litter, which was named after our sweet mama, Cookie. There’s nothing better than curling up really close to a foster-family member and becoming a total snuggle bug – that is, after I have finished exploring. You see, true to my name, I am usually the first kitten to check out new rooms, say “hi” to new people, and scope out the resident pets. I like to lead with confidence and a gentle little purr — I mean, that’s what a Scout does, right? My story began when a kind family found my momma Cookie wandering around outside. She was so friendly that they thought she had a home. Unfortunately, no one came forward. When they found that she had baked a whole batch of us kittens, they brought all of us inside, and I have been safe, loved, and full of personality ever since. I get along great with the young kids, other cats, and friendly dogs in my foster home. Sometimes I let out a little hiss if someone gets a little too rowdy. Don’t worry — I never swat or scratch. I just like to keep things calm and respectful. Now I’m ready to be the fearless feline leader of my forever family. I’m independent and confident enough to go solo, but I’d really love to be adopted with one of my siblings, Tagalong "Pattie", Do-Si-Do "Peanut," or Chip. After all, cookies are always better by the dozen, right?
