My story

Meet your new bestie, Lady! During her time at the shelter, she’s shown everyone just how easygoing, sweet-natured, and affectionate she truly is! At only four months old, Lady already knows how to sit for a treat and takes them ever so gently from your hand: proof she’s both smart and polite! She enjoys walks and is a dream on a leash, happily trotting beside her human friends. While toys are fun, Lady is all about the people! She’d rather lean in for some loving than play fetch all day! When meeting other pups, Lady is respectful and kind. She recently met another dog who was feeling nervous, and Lady gave her the space she needed. If you have a resident pup at home, bring them by for a meet and greet to ensure compatibility! Whether you’re looking for a first-time pup or a new companion to grow with, Lady is ready to fill your days with joy, love, and tail wags. Come meet her and you’ll fall in love instantly! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
