Jethro

My story

Jethro is a very sweet and loving boy. He’s a big fan of playing and napping. He loves people and making new friends, both human and canine alike. All he wants is to be around his humans (he loooooooooves head scratches) and to play with his dog foster-siblings. Jethro is fully house trained, and does really well in his crate without issues. He sleeps through the night without a peep, but he does occasionally snore (adorably, of course). He is food-motivated, loves treats, and takes them oh-so gently. This sweet boy has big worries about vacuum cleaners and hair dryers, and will let you know about that. Jethro knows basic commands, and is working on more. This big boy still has a tiny bit of puppy in him, so he’s been known to occasionally abscond with shoes and other treasures, but he’s easily correctable with positive reinforcement. Because his foster family has a large yard/property, he hasn’t had much leash training but is a smart boy and a quick learner. Jethro would thrive in a loving, supportive home where he could have all the head scratches all the time. He would be great as an only dog or with other dogs. He’s not had exposure to children, but we think he’d do well with older kids comfortable with a pup his size.
