My story

My hips aren’t what they used to be, and these days I take my walks a little slower, but don’t let the gray in my muzzle fool you... I’ve still got plenty of life in me.There’s nothing quite like the sound of a good squeaky toy. I’ll carry one around the house with me, give it a good chomp now and then just to hear that squeak-squeak-squeak. Drives the humans a little nuts sometimes, but I can’t help it! It makes me happy.Treats? Oh, I still love those. I’ve learned a thing or two over the years, so I know just the right look to give for an extra biscuit or maybe something from the kitchen if they’re feeling generous. I’m not as bouncy as I once was, but I still love being close. A gentle hand on my head, a soft rub behind my ears, slow strokes down my back... that’s the good stuff. I’ll lean into it, close my eyes, and sigh. It’s not just affection; it’s comfort. It’s home. I may be older now, but I’m still loyal, still watching over my people. I’ve earned every gray hair, every soft spot on the couch, and every quiet moment in the sun. And I’m still your good dog.
