🎤 Meet David Bowie – The Littlest Rock Star with the Biggest Heart 💔 David Bowie once ran the streets with his best buddy, Cat Stevens — two tiny souls trying to survive a world that hadn’t been kind to them. Picked up as strays and brought to the Contra Costa Animal Shelter, they waited… and waited… for someone to notice them. Days turned into weeks, and their names ended up on the euthanasia list — simply because no one came. But fate had one last encore in store. The kind hearts at Pets Lifeline stepped in just in time, making room in their shelter for a few small dogs who deserved more than the cold silence of a kennel. Sonoma Valley has always had a soft spot for little Chi mixes, and we’re hoping someone out there will have that same love for this shy, soulful boy. David may have a rock star name, but he’d much rather be your pocket pup than on any stage. He’s quiet, observant, and oh-so-gentle — the kind of dog who just wants to feel safe and loved. He and Cat Stevens are still bunking together, just like they did in the other shelter, but they aren’t a bonded pair. They’ve just been through a lot together, and right now, it’s comforting to have a familiar face nearby. David is small. Delicate. A little wary of the world — and who could blame him? But with a soft bed, a kind voice, and a warm lap, we believe this little boy can finally learn what it means to be home.
