My story

FIV +Hello!  Hello! My name is Nessie I’m a two-year-old black and white beauty with the softest short coat, and I’m looking for my forever home! I am super affectionate; My absolute favorite things in the world are cuddles, blankets, and being close to people. If you sit down, I’ll be right there, curling up in your lap or making biscuits into a cozy throw. I get along great with other cats and prefer having a friend to play with! But I also love to meet all of your human friends, I am very friendly and curious! I also love to explore, hunt, and eat. I am extremely passionate about mealtime, but I will wait my turn if I’m sharing because I like to lick the plate clean! You might notice that I have an odd walk, but don’t let that fool you, it doesn’t slow me down one bit! I play, climb, and explore just like any other cat. I am FIV+, which means that my immune system is compromised- but I am currently happy and healthy! With good care and love, I can live a long happy life as your best friend and emotional support buddy.   I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
