I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog G:6Jamiroquai – The Gentle Old Soul Jamiroquai is a 10-year-old, 41-pound male Pit Bull Terrier with a tender, cautious nature and a heart full of sweetness. This distinguished gentleman may be on the quieter side, but his gentle charm shines once you spend a little time with him. Polite walker: Jamiroquai walks nicely on leash, keeping pace with a steady trot as he takes in the world around him. Soft-hearted and cautious: While curious, he approaches new experiences slowly, offering loose, slow tail wags that hint at his warm but careful personality. Sweet but shy with play: He sometimes shows interest in playing, but nerves can make him pull back. With gentle encouragement, his playful side may blossom more over time. Food-motivated: Though he takes treats a little awkwardly at first, he accepts them politely from a flat palm and enjoys both kibble and hot dogs—always finishing with a soft lick to your fingers. Companion at heart: Jamiroquai isn’t focused on toys but thrives on calm company, steady reassurance, and gentle affection.
