My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog L:3Luau – Gentle Treat-Loving Explorer Luau is a 6-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier weighing 56 pounds, with a soft, affectionate nature and a curious spirit. She’s ready to be your walking buddy and loyal friend. Soft-hearted greeter: Meets people with warm eyes, gentle tail wags, and a polite, calm demeanor. Food-motivated learner: Takes treats with a feather-light mouth and is eager to work for snacks. Polite walker: Pulls mildly and enjoys exploring, sniffing, and strolling past other dogs without a fuss. Affectionate & thoughtful: Seeks gentle pets and checks in with her person along the way. Adapts with encouragement: A little hesitant and unsure, she responds beautifully to patience, tasty rewards, and kindness. Luau would thrive in a calm, loving home that appreciates her gentle spirit, enjoys going for sniff-filled walks, and loves spoiling a food-motivated best friend.
