My story

Ventus A17722932 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -He was happy to wander and explore out in the yard frequently coming over to check in for some pets and attention-He has small moments of playfulness with a few little zoomies and play bows but doesn’t seem to understand toys yet-Treat motivated, sits patiently and takes them very gently-Enjoys being in your lap for pets, snuggles and belly rubs-Gives occasional kisses-He is very easy to walk-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
