My story

Meet Ruby2 (formerly Pecan), a charming 8-month-old Rat Terrier mix who weighs around 31 pounds but carries a heart full of sweetness. She is estimated to be a medium size dog of under 60 pounds when fully grow. With her short tricolor coat and gentle, loving nature, Ruby2 will quickly wiggle her way into your heart and home. This little bundle of joy has a medium energy level and gets along well with kids and dogs. She has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. To know Ruby2 is to love her. She is a little spunky nugget of a dog with endless love. She also has a decent amount of puppy energy. She loves to zoom around outdoors and will toss a ball to herself to play with. What really thrills her is spending ample time with people. Ruby2 has the cutest and endearing greeting as she will bring her ears back and engage in a full body wiggle when she sees people approach her to say hi. With patience and commitment, Ruby2 has mastered her house and crate training. She is continuing to learn her leash training. Although Ruby2 is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Imagine Ruby2 playfully exploring the backyard, making new friends while walking her in the neighborhood, or snuggling up beside you with her favorite toy after a fun-filled day.
