My story

Prepare yourself — because once you look into Uma's stunning green eyes, it's already over. This incredibly sweet four-year-old has a way of capturing hearts effortlessly, and with a personality to match those gorgeous eyes, she is honestly one of the most special girls you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. This girl is exceptionally friendly, warm, and openly affectionate with everyone she meets. She doesn't play favorites or make you earn her trust over weeks and weeks. Uma simply walks up, looks at you with those breathtaking green eyes, and decides you are wonderful. And just like that, you have a new best friend. Uma's favorite thing in the world? Being wherever you are. She is a devoted little shadow who loves nothing more than following her people from room to room, popping by for pets and scratches whenever the mood strikes — which is often. Very often. This is not a cat who will hide under the bed and make you wonder if she likes you. Uma wants you to know, in no uncertain terms, that she absolutely adores you. The purring starts almost immediately and honestly it barely ever stops. And those belly rubs? Uma is a rare and precious gem — a cat who not only tolerates belly rubs but actively seeks them out and rolls over in pure bliss to request them. She is generous with her affection and expects the same in return, which really just makes her even more lovable. When she's not busy collecting pets and giving out purrs, Uma loves to spend time at her favorite window spot — especially if there happens to be a bird feeder nearby. Set one up outside her window and you will have made this girl the happiest cat alive. She watches with those wide green eyes completely transfixed, and then — the chirping begins. Uma loves a good bird watching session and she will absolutely narrate the entire thing for you in her own adorable chirpy language. Her fosters will tell you that conversations with Uma are one of the genuine highlights of the day, and we believe every word of it. Uma's playful side keeps things fun and lively, and her sweet and gentle nature makes her wonderful with both other cats and children.
