My story

Love is a 2-year-old spayed female cat from the NYCACC. Love was found in an apartment after her owner passed away approximately 2 months prior. She had access to water but no food. She was emaciated, dehydrated, with poor body condition. After a month in foster home, she has recovered and blossomed into the most beautiful cat and is now ready for her forever home! Love is a sweet and playful young cat who will quickly win you over with her affectionate personality. She’s happiest when she’s curled up next to you in bed, perched on a sunny window sill, or zooming around the house in a burst of energy. Love enjoys snuggling, playing, and being wherever her humans are. Love is extremely friendly with people and has done well around dogs. She would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of attention and playtime. Love is fully litter-box trained and enjoys a good window-watching session between play breaks. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will keep you entertained and make your home feel warmer, Love just might be your perfect match. Because Lucy is under 1 year old, she will need to be adopted with another kitten or cat from our rescue (like her sister, Ethel) or be adopted into a home that already has a playful and friendly cat or kitten.  Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens.
