My story

Zinnia is a calm, affectionate, and smart dog who’s just as happy snuggling under a blanket as she is joining you for a walk. She loves to curl up under a blanket with her head resting on a pillow—a true cozy queen. As a very good girl, Zinnia walks nicely on leash, greets people politely, and adapts easily to a consistent routine. And with her gorgeous natural black “eyeliner,” she’s always photo-ready. A Perfect Day for Zinnia • Morning walk • Snack - peanut butter, carrots, watermelon, or a pig ear are her favorites • Naptime in her blanket nest • Playtime with toys - she loves them all • Evening walk • Cuddles and maybe a pup cup to end the day Activity Level • Medium – typically two or three 20–40 minute walks a day • Flexible on weekends with a more relaxed schedule Skills & Manners • Sit, Wait, Hand (offers paw) • Crate-trained and house-trained • Quiet in the house • Calm with children and large groups • Enjoys car rides • Walks nicely on leash Ideal Home • Consistent routine • Daily walks and cuddle time • Only pet in the household • Apartment or detached house A true hound, Zinnia is food-motivated, smart, and ready to add more skills to her repertoire. While she’s not dog-reactive or aggressive—she can pass other dogs on walks and handle vet visits without issue—she must be the only pet in the home. Zinnia is current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
