My story

Hi, I’m Nova, a tuxedo girl with a white chin, a gentle heart, and a laid-back nature that makes life feel easy. My brother Zed and I look a lot alike, but that little white chin of mine is how you’ll know it’s me. My foster family’s kids named me after a Disney show—because apparently, I shine bright. ✨ I’m pretty easygoing and don’t fuss about much. I can keep up with my siblings during playtime, but I’m just as happy entertaining myself. Sometimes you’ll find me perched on a shelf, quietly watching the action like a little queen surveying her kingdom. My favorite toys? Fuzzy mice, wand toys, balls with bells, and scratchers. I often purr when you pick me up—especially after I’ve had a good meal or when I’m feeling sleepy and snuggly. I’ve already been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and I should do well in a home with other cats, calmer cat-friendly dogs, and children, as long as we meet each other slowly. If you want a sweet, observant companion who loves both playtime and peaceful moments, I think we’d get along beautifully.
