My story

Some dogs fetch. Some dogs sit. Shiloh? Shiloh stares directly into your soul with the intensity of a thousand romantic comedies — and absolutely no thoughts in his head except love. Deep, unfiltered, awkward love.   At around 3 years old, and 54 lbs, this husky mix has mastered the art of being almost cuddly. He wants to cuddle SO BADLY… and he gives it his all for about half a second. Then it gets weird, and he panics, and flops away like “what was that??” Relatable.   But don’t let his emotional confusion fool you — Shiloh is full of heart. He’s a gentle giant with fur so soft you’ll wonder if he was spun from clouds. He takes treats like a gentleman, walks like a dream, and rides shotgun like your most loyal road trip partner.   He’s dog-friendly, puppy-tolerant, and an absolute champ at tug-of-war (he will let your dog win sometimes, because he’s emotionally mature like that). He even comes with a few missing toes — a badge of honor from his time surviving alone with an injury before rescue. But it doesn’t slow him down one bit. This boy’s got places to go, people to love, and snacks to stare at intensely until he gets a taste.   While he’s probably more trusting of women at first, Shiloh loves everyone. He’s been through it, and he’s still choosing love every day. And he’s ready to choose you.   So if you’re looking for a soulful, awkward, loyal, fluff-ball of a best friend, come meet Shiloh. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care.
