My story

Fancy is a female silver/black Poodle. She is 3 years old and she weighs 58 pounds. Fancy spayed and vaccinated including rabies. Fancy is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Fancy is ready for adoption. Fancy is people (including kid) and dog friendly and even good with cats. Fancy was owner surrendered in need of a home with more time for her. She got one for almost a year with a family, but her habit of going after the chickens was a problem in that setting. For that reason, we prefer a home with only humans, canines and felines, no other uncaged species, please. Fancy is potty and kennel trained, and walks great on a leash. Fancy is a super sweet girl who needs an adopter or family who really wants a sidekick. She does so well in a kennel when needed, but when she is with you, she wants to be with you! Fancy is a hugger. Fancy rides in the car like a person. When you love on her she just swoons with contentment. You can hug her, lean on her, she just can’t get enough loving. Adoption fee is $400. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
