Elmer

My story

Elmer wants you to know he may not be your handsome Prince today but after he has a couple more spa days and buffs up a bit he will be turning your head and many others. This little guy is a miniature schnauzer about 1-2 yr old weighing 10#. Elmer was stray on a busy street and very frightened but willing to accept help. He was extremely matted, dirty and covered in fleas. Grooming uncovered multiple areas of skin breakdown requiring medicated baths and antibiotics. He is excellent in his little pack of friends although not as outgoing as some. Elmer loves to be held and told how special he is. He whines at night to go to his kennel. At mealtime he gets in line to be picked up for kenneling. Food is a favorite subject. Elmer is making great progress with housebreaking and his foster believes he has it mastered. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, vaccinated and has had a vet evaluation. Elmer’s adoption fee is $300
