Meet Linzie, Your New Best Friend! Get ready to fall in love with Linzie, a 6-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix who’s bursting with sweetness and ready to steal your heart! This adorable pup had a rough start, living with over 40 other dogs in less-than-ideal conditions, but she’s a total champ with a heart full of love to share. When Linzie first arrived at her foster home, she was a bit nervous about stepping inside—she wasn’t sure what to expect! But with a little time and lots of love, she’s blossomed into a loyal companion who adores her people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Right now, Linzie’s working hard on learning to walk confidently on a leash and building trust with her foster family, and she’s making great progress every day! Plus, she’s a superstar in the house, behaving beautifully without needing a crate. Her favorite thing? Following you everywhere you go, like your very own shadow, with her wagging tail and big, soulful eyes. Linzie’s gentle, loving vibe makes her the perfect playmate for kids and other pups—she’s all about spreading joy! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
