My story

Hi, I’m Mazi and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Mazi – A Brave Mama Ready for Her Forever Home Mazi’s journey hasn’t been easy . She came into rescue pregnant, scared, and unsure of the world. Just six days later, she gave birth to her puppies , but sadly rejected them, leaving her to begin her own healing process . While her pups thrived in foster homes, Mazi has been working hard on learning to trust and discovering that life can be safe, loving, and full of joy . Since then, Mazi has made incredible progress . Her playful side is beginning to shine—she’s starting to enjoy toys and gets so excited to see her foster mom each morning . She still has some learning to do (like not jumping up when she’s happy ), but with patience and consistency, she’s eager to please and quick to correct when told “no.” Mazi is cautious with new people and needs slow introductions , but once she trusts you, her loyalty and love come through beautifully . She’s not a fan of loud noises or sudden movements, so a calm, understanding home will help her feel secure . Because of her past, Mazi will do best as an only dog , in a home without young children (older kids who understand boundaries are fine ). A fenced yard is a must —this girl has a strong prey drive and will happily chase squirrels, rabbits, and birds . Mazi may need extra time and patience , but she has so much love to give . With the right family, this sweet girl will blossom into a loyal, joyful companion who will be forever grateful for her second chance . Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
