My story

Missy was just a kitten herself when we noticed she was pregnant and sleeping night after night outside during the coldest of cold snaps earlier this year. Needless to say, this sweet, loving girl deserved better for herself and her babies! We brought her into one of our foster homes where she gave birth to her kittens Rizza and Stubbs just a week later! She has been nothing but an adoring, doting mother, allowing her babies to suckle on her well after they were weaned, but has always sought out her own attention, gently head-butting and rubbing against humans for their affection. She loves scratches around her chin and gentle pets down the length of her fluffy body. She's bright-eyed and curious about her new indoor life and openly appreciative for the good life she is now living! The only thing left she desires is a home to call hers forever where she can soak up all of the love and attention she's so patiently had to share with her kittens.    Missy's former life was spent roaming an apartment complex with several other cats so we feel she would do just fine in a home with or without other cats. Her experience with dogs has been minimal. She has met the 75lb, super cat enthusiastic foster doggy in her home and she wasn't a huge fan, but it is hard to gauge if her reaction was due to her dislike of dogs or if she was being protective of her kittens. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2025, 2:21 pm
