My story

Meet Archie -- a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a heart of gold and a spirit that never quits! Archie is a 1.5-year-old chocolate Lab/Shepherd/Husky mix weighing in at 48 lbs of pure love. This handsome boy is incredibly gentle, social, and affectionate -- a true love bug who adores people of all ages, especially kids. He currently lives happily alongside children, other dogs, and even cats (he&#39s curious, but always polite and friendly with them!). Archie has a medium energy level and would thrive with a family who has a fenced yard and either other playful pups or kids to keep him company. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys his daily strolls almost as much as he enjoys couch cuddles and belly rubs. Squeaky toys, attention, and snuggles are his favorite things in the world! Smart as can be, Archie already knows basic commands like sit and leave it, and he learns new tricks in no time. He&#39s a bright, eager-to-please boy just waiting for a family to show off his skills for. He is also potty and crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Though he had a tough start in life -- Archie was hit by a car and dragged, resulting in severe damage to one of his back legs -- he hasn&#39t let it dim his sparkle. His leg was amputated, but this resilient pup hasn&#39t missed a beat. He runs, plays, and lives life to the fullest with three legs and a huge grin.
