My story

Nixie is in need of a new caring home! Her current owner can no longer care for her and has provided this information:Nixie is a bit on the sassy side, but friendly towards humans and likes to keep to herself most of the time. She rarely meows, but when she does, it is usually when she wants wet food (her favorites being beef and chicken, sometimes duck); she has a really soft and high pitched voice. She likes being in her favorite person’s lap and petted on her head including behind her ears especially, but she doesn’t like to be held despite tolerating it for ˜3 minutes. She doesn’t care too much for catnip or toys but likes to zoom around freely when she plays.Special needs: Yes, she needs a specialized plan for her skin dermatitis/skin sensitivity due to her having fleas from her original owner that nearly ended her life.Good with cats: No, but will tolerate their presence.Good with children: Unknown, but it’s likely she’d be good with children around.Good with dogs: Unknown, though I’m certain she wouldn’t be good with dogs.House-trained: Yes.Needs experienced adopter: Not necessarily, but if they’re not experienced then they need to make sure to prepare for her special needs in advance.Nixie~born~8/15/21_____Standard and Special Breed adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, FELUK/FIV combo test, spay/neuter, and microchip!
